ICE Shooting

Revised

When I posted my article yesterday, I thought that there were two streets. It appears it was only one street and that street was a one-way street. When I reviewed the video again it appears she drove down the street pulled her car over to the right then turned left to block the road. The position of her car tires is now irrelevant. That was my error in my first article.

The 37-year-old woman identified as Renee Good was called a constitutional observer. There is a marked difference between observing and impeding. Ms. Good was impeding a Federal Law Enforcement operation. Based on the video Ms. Good turned her car around to block the street. When ICE Agents approached her car and told her to get out, Ms. Good did not comply with the ICE Agents commands, and this is when this situation went from bad to worse. Ms. Good started arguing and yelling at the ICE Agents things got heated.

At this time Ms. Good realized she was well over her head in her stunt of blocking the street. She knew was going to be arrested and panic set in. She became emotional and panicked, her "flight" response kicked in and she was not thinking clearly, she wanted to escape. She backed her car up quickly, not knowing or caring if someone was behind her car. This was a very irresponsible move on her part. Ms. Good then turned her car to the right and stepped on the gas pedal and quickly attempted to go back down the one-way street.

In her emotional, panicked frame of mind she did not know or care if someone was in front of her car. Again, this was a very irresponsible move because she wanted to get away. It is very possible she did not want to kill the ICE Agent because she did not see him in her panicked frame of mind. Either way her actions were very irresponsible.

From the ICE Agent's perspective, he saw a car back up and speed forward towards him, he had a split second to make a decision. The Agent took a defensive shot. To call this a murder is wrong, the shots came after Ms. Good drove her car forward in the direction of the ICE Agent.

If Ms. Good complied with the direct orders of the ICE Agents, she would be alive today. Many of you politicians who are crucifying our Law Enforcement Officers with your insane rhetoric are putting their lives in very grave danger every day. Need I remind many of you, many of these Law Enforcement Officers are retired Veterans. You are spitting on our Veterans once again. I am very sad over this loss of life, it was all so unnecessary. I have stated many times in my articles "there is no logic to emotion." This is an accurate example of my statement.
